Follow these steps to ask a question:

1. Visit Categorized Questions and Answers to make sure you can't already find the answer there.
2. Click on edit by the Unanswered Questions section.
3. Put in a link in the Unanswered Questions section. For example, you could put in the link [[Where do semicolons go?]]. The link should be a one sentence question.
4. Save the section.
5. Click on the link you made. This should open up a new page for editing.
6. On the new page enter the text, "Please help me find the answer." Also include further details that will help others understand what you are asking.
7. Save the new page you just created.
8. At the top of the new page, click on 'watch'. This will send you an email when someone answers your question.
9. When you get the email saying someone has answered your question, move the link from the Answered Questions section to the Categorized Questions and Answers page.

This page works best if everyone also answers questions. Here's how:

1. Click on a question you think you know the answer to.
2. Read the details of the question on the page.
3. If you don't know the answer, but are interested in what the answer is, click on 'watch' at the top of the page and you'll get an email when the question is answered. Stop here if you can't provide the answer.
4. If you know the answer, edit the page to provide the answer. Editing the page will automatically send the person who asked the question an email.
5. Move the question to the Answered Questions section. This helps everyone know which questions still need attention.
